Privacy Policy

1. OBJECTIVE.

By means of this privacy policy, ADEuropa Foundation (hereinafter ADEuropa) would like to inform the web site users about its policy on personal data protection. ADEuropa Foundation, complying with the information right set forth in the Spanish Organic Law of Personal data Protection 15/1999, 13th of December, (hereinafter LOPD) recognises all users.

 

2. TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA.

2.1. Information to the user.

The receiver of such data will be, in each case, ADEuropa and for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, also those companies that are part of ADE (the Economic Development Agency).

ADEuropa, by means of forms or e-mail communications, collects and treats personal data with the following purposes:

    a) To inform Castilla y León companies regarding our Foundation activities, as well as events and general information that may interest users.

    b) To manage and monitor those services offered by means of the web site.

    c) To send that information on ADEuropa services that may interest the user.

The collecting data forms will clearly identify those fields and questions that are compulsory.

Compulsory data will be the strictly necessary to carry out the above mentioned purposes of paragraphs a) and b), corresponding, in each case, to the service or query requested by the user.

2.2. User’s consent.

When the user that is requesting a service confirms the sending of his/her personal data, he/she expressly consents ADEuropa data treatment.

Also, the user consents the potential data transfer to ADEuropa or any ADE company. The transfer shall be exclusively for the purposes stated in paragraph 2.1 and always within the framework of the Spanish Personal Data Protection legislation.

2.3. Collection and data quality.

The client agrees to inform the holders of the personal data he/she is facilitating about this personal data privacy policy. And, if necessary, a printed copy will be provided.

Following the principle of quality on personal data, stated in the LOPD (section 4) the user is committed to provide true, precise, complete and updated data, according to his/her situation.

If the client provides fake, incomplete, or not up dated personal data he/she shall be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage, that may cause to a third party or to ADEuropa. The latter has the right to terminate the services provided to the client, as well as any other relation without prejudice of any other legal action.

2.4. User’s rights (access, rectification, opposition and cancellation).

ADEuropa informs the user and/or any interested party that they are entitled to exercise the rights of access, rectification, opposition and cancellation regarding their personal data. These rights, which are stated in the LOPD, shall be freely exercised and according to the terms and conditions established in the in force legislation. The user shall contact the file owner at the following address: Fundación ADEuropa. C/ Recondo s/n, 47004 Valladolid (Spain). The user can also send an e-mail to adeuropa@adeuropa.org.

2.5. File’s owners.

The file owners commit themselves to treat the personal data provided by the client with confidentiality and taking into account the technical and organisational measures required by the LOPD and by the Royal Decree 994/1999, 11th of June, which approves the regulation on mandatory security measures for the computer files which contain personal data.

Also, ADEuropa, as owner of the files, and according to the above mentioned Spanish law (section 26) and to the guidelines of the General Registry for Personal data (R.G.P.D) of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, has registered the above mentioned files, which have their registered code, provided by this entity.

 

3. POLICY UPDATE.

This policy may be modified due to changes in the requirements stated in the in force legislation, due to judgements or jurisprudence changes as well as changes in the business strategies of ADEuropa. The publication and access by the users, shall be done by means of this same site. The relations already created with the users before such changes shall be governed by the existing rules at that moment.
