ADEuropa received the 14th of June 2007, within the framework of the strategy that is developing for the creation of contact networks with international institutions and regions, Mr. Denis Brunet, Vice-president of the Conseil Général de la Vienne, Mr. Jacques Aumasson, Director of the International Relations Department and Mrs. Blanca Millán, from the International Cooperation Department of the Conséil Général de La Vienne. La Vienne is a French department that belongs to the Poitou-Charentes region, in the centre of France, and has a total surface of 7,000 square km and a population of 400,000 inhabitants.
This visit has favoured the signature of an Memorandum of Understanding, by means of which both parties declared their intention to collaborate in the promotion of reciprocal exchanges and the development of common projects, in order to improve the mutual knowledge of both social, cultural, economic and environmental features.
