Creation of Castilla y Leon Entrepreneur’s Associations in Chile and Argentina, in order to foster business relations between them

Castilla y León Regional Government signed today, in Buenos Aires, an agreement to create an enterprises association linked to the Autonomous Region in order to offer institutional support and to foster the existing relation between entrepreneurs of both countries.
The Argentinian association was created today in Buenos Aires before a public Notary and with the presence of the Industry General Director, Mr. Carlos Martín Tobalina, representing the Regional Government. The association in Chile was created yesterday and Mexico will soon have its own association.
Castilla y Leon Entrepreneur’s Associations in Argentina has approximately 75 members representing those companies linked to the Autonomous Region. Regarding the Chilean association, it was created yesterday in Santiago de Chile with more than 40 Castilian entrepreneurs. Among others: Inzamac, Grupo Norte and the logistics and marketing company Dinter, which was created in Chile due to the cooperation of the other two companies.
This initiative is the result of the commitment undertaken by the Most Excellent Mr. Juan Vicente Herrera Campo, President of Castilla y León Regional Government, with Mexican, Chilean and Argentinian entrepreneurs, during the institutional trips carried out in 2005 and 2006 together with a representation of Castilian entrepreneurs.
The objective of each association is to create a meeting forum for the entrepreneurs of these countries whose origin or family links are related to Castilla y León, to the Autonomous Region’s companies or to the own Regional Government.
Its purpose is to join in an entrepreneurship association all those initiatives, that from these countries and with the institutional support of Castilla y León, may generate proposals and initiatives regarding trade, investment, or any other kind of business, to favour the business activity and to enable the members of the association as well as Castilla y León companies to benefit from the created links due to the association.
One of the benefits to be emphasised is the implementation of the necessary actions to facilitate the integration of Argentinian, Chilean and Mexican entrepreneurs in Castilla y León companies and vice versa with the aim of promoting their labour integration within an international environment.
Also, an inter territorial business activity may be developed, in order to facilitate the technology transfer among the member companies and to create a platform for entrepreneurs improving these companies’ competitiveness.
These newly business associations will start their activity in a few days by means of a visit to our Autonomous Region. The person in charge of each business association will be received by the President of the Labour Executive.
